Locomotive No. 3424 donated to the City of Kinsley KS June 7th, 1956 by the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway Company.

Purchased September of 1921 from Baldwin Railway Works at Eddystone PA at a cost of $61,927.08. Used in passenger service on the Chicago terminal Illinois, Missouri Divisions. Converted from coal to oil fueling September 1941. Retired from service, July 1953. Total mileage of operation, 2, 071,610.
